Today was a fairly short travel day. We took our time getting out of the hotel, checking out just minutes before we were supposed to. It only took us about 3 hours or so to get to our hotel, which has to be one of the nicest we've stayed in so far. It's not fancy, but it's big and comfortable. The town of Mariposa is small, but so cute and has everything we need. We had dinner at a great place called "The Happy Burger Diner" and they had EVERYTHING you could think of to eat and most importantly, macaroni & cheese for the girls! However, Kylie had not slept at all during the drive and fell asleep drinking her milk! Her head was bobbing and her eyes were closed, but she was still sucking on her straw! She finally stopped and just laid down on the bench. I guess yesterday wore her out!
Tomorrow we are headed to Yosemite National Park to do some exploring and continue our journey. We are eventually headed to a town called Mammoth Lakes, which is halfway between Yosemite & Death Valley. I'm sure we'll have tons of pictures tomorrow from the park so check back soon!! ~The Thayers & Mom-Mom
