Last Meal with the Mosers...

Last night we were able to get together and have dinner for the last time here in WA with our very good friends The Mosers - Scott, Shaliece, Riley, & Garrett. We went to Famous Dave's BBQ for some delish BBQ, burgers, & dessert - YUM!! Even though we are going to meet up with them in Las Vegas on our way across the country, it was great to get together for one last time here in WA to chat, vent, & just spend time with good friends. It's hard to believe that we won't be just a few minutes down the road from each other anymore and won't be talking everyday (sometimes 2, 3, or 4 times....) to each other about practically everything. They have truly been great friends during our time in WA and we know that they will continue to be always. No matter that we live in MD & they will live in TX, miles do not matter when it comes to great friends! We love you guys and will miss you very, very much!!

Getting Ready for the Big Move.....

Well, tonight starts our nights sleeping in hotel rooms. The movers officially arrive tomorrow morning to start packing up all of our stuff. They'll be here tomorrow & Thursday and then picking everything up on Friday. We officially leave the state of WA on Tuesday, a week from today and head to Astoria, OR (the location of "The Goonies" for all the movie/80s buffs out there). Each night we hope to add a new blog post so you can keep up to date with where we are that particular day and where we are headed the next day. We are stopping at some exciting places such as San Francisco, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon...just to name a few!

Even though we are extremely excited for our trip and looking forward to moving back to the East Coast to be closer to our family & friends, we are sad to be leaving the home we have known for the past 3 years. It hit me yesterday just how special this house has been to us.....it was the first one that we purchased, both Kylie & Jillian took their very first steps in the living room, both had their 1st birthdays in our kitchen & spread cake & frosting all over the table.....this house holds & will forever hold lots of great memories for our family, ones that we will cherish always!

Please keep our family in your prayers in the coming weeks for a safe trip across over 3000 miles till we reach Baltimore. We love & miss you all very much and cannot wait to see you all again VERY soon!! Please keep checking back daily for updates & stories of where we are in the U.S.
