The night began with a wonderful spread of heavy appetizers before the ballroom doors opened. Then after a few nice words from the CEO, Phil Lantz, dinner was served. The spread was unbelievable! It was a dinner buffett with 4 different stations to choose from for your meal - you could even pick & choose. There was the "Windy City" with Mustard-Maple Pork Loin, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Warm Country Bread (can you guess which one I picked??), the "Great Northwest" which had Mussels with pinot noir butter, Cedar Plank Salmon & Heirloom Wild Rice Pilaf, the "Texas - Big 'D'" which had Smoked beef brisket, Chicken Mole Tamales, Chipotle Ranch Beans, & finally the "Barron of Beef" which was the prime rib carving station. Every option was mouth-watering! Then to top it all off, there was the "Winter Wonderland Dessert Station" out in the foyer with DELICIOUS desserts of holiday themed cakes, pies, & tortes, petit fours, & mini French pastries! Needless to say, we had plenty to eat & each bite more delicious than the last!
Of course, there was a live band for dancing! Not alot of people took advantage of the dance floor, but we did get a slow one in before calling it a night & heading back up to our room to chit chat with our good friends, Bobbi & Kevin! Who, looked fantastic!! Kevin made all heads turn in admiration in his traditional Scottish kilt in the Navy plaid! Bobbi looked gorgeous in a midnight blue velvet dress accented by her Scottish jewelry! It was great to be able to dress up for the night - although by the end of the night my feet were killing me! Don't ask me why I chose to wear 4 inch heels, but I will never do that again!
All in all, a very memorable night & we are already looking forward to next year! Here's some pics we took - ENJOY!
Bobbi & Keving looking phenomenal!
Having a great time!!
