Christmas Cookie Crazy!

One of my favorite things about this time of year is making Christmas cookies & other sweet, tasty treats! This afternoon, the girls & I went over to my Mom & Aunt Linda's house to make Christmas cookies with our cousins Jen, Haley, & Nancy.

My aunt had purchased really cool Crayola colored cookie dough that were made specifically for little kids to roll, mold, & decorate. We decided to roll them out like sugar cookies & then have the girls decorate them with smaller pieces of other colors. They had a blast, but after a few trays of cookies, the novelty wore off and they were back to coloring, playing with Playdoh, & watching their movies!

We had a fun time, as always, laughing & making treats! In addition to the Crayola cookies, we made Peanut Butter Blossums (my favorite), red & green press cookies, & creamy chocolate fudge! Everything was delicious, making our Christmas cookie craziness a SUCCESS!

Mom rolling out the green dough - she's a pro!

Kylie & Haley decorating their cookies with little bits of the blue & yellow dough.

Jillian meticulously decorating her cookies - with a little help from Mom-Mom!

Decorating the trees & candy canes.

The finished cookies on the cooling rack - can you tell which ones Kylie made? They may look a little strange, but they are yummy!!

Back to coloring & watching "Dora"!
